Healing Through Movement
Kaitlin’s journey with yoga began at just 15, when she turned to movement and mindfulness to navigate the weight of personal challenges and debilitating anxiety. With VHS tapes of Rodney Yee and Seane Corn as her first teachers, she discovered not just a practice—but a path to peace. By 18, she had completed her 200-hour teacher training and dove deeply into the philosophy and lifestyle of yoga. Since then, Kaitlin has accumulated over 1,000 hours of advanced certifications spanning yoga, Ayurveda, Pilates reformer, functional movement, kettlebells, personal training, and meditation.
Her evolving path has led her into therapeutic work, where she now focuses on supporting others through pain, stress, and trauma with resilience and grace. Currently completing her 500-hour RYT and training as a certified yoga therapist through IAYT, Kaitlin offers a highly personalized approach to healing—one that integrates body, mind, and spirit.
Yoga therapist, intuitive guide, and movement alchemist, Kaitlin blends ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with cutting-edge movement science. She is certified in functional movement systems (FMS), Pilates (PhysicalMind Institute), and holds credentials in Ayurvedic practice through Dr. David Frawley’s program, along with Dragon Door-HKC and NASM personal training. Her work is grounded, heart-led, and transformational—inviting each student into a space of balance, vitality, and deep self-trust.

Rest - Rhythm - Meaning
This is the heart of Erin’s work with women navigating the layered realities of life—career, parenting, and the shifting tides of menstrual, perimenopausal, and menopausal transitions. She helps women reclaim a life that feels rooted, resilient, and deeply theirs by beginning at the source: the nervous system. Through practices that downregulate stress and reconnect to safety, rest becomes a ritual—not a reward.
In Erin’s world, movement is not just exercise—it’s embodied reclamation. Using sensation-rich, functional modalities grounded in sukha (ease) and sthira (steadiness), her work brings women home to their bodies as sources of wisdom, not war. With a fluid approach that blends strength training, somatics, and nervous system regulation, Erin creates a space where the fierce and the soft can co-exist—and where every breath, every pause, holds meaning.
Functional movement coach, women’s self-leadership guide, pelvic floor specialist, and sacred space holder, Erin brings nearly 25 years of experience in women-centered functional movement. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration – Health Administration and advanced certifications including NASM-P.T., Dragon Door-HKC, 500 RYT (Yoga International), Brookbush Institute-FMS, and Original Strength Level 1. Her approach honors the rhythms of the female body, supporting strength-building that fuels—not drains—energy, hormonal health, and long-term vitality.

Warrior Sanctuary was born from the union of two lifelong paths—one rooted in yoga therapy, the other in functional movement and self-leadership.
Erin Tomaso and Kaitlin Faye Heavin came together with a shared vision: to create a space where healing doesn’t mean stopping and strength doesn’t mean suffering. Drawing from decades of experience in movement science, yoga, nervous system healing, and holistic health, they set out to build a sanctuary that would bridge the gaps between fitness and recovery, discipline and intuition, science and soul.
